Desk Workers Yoga Class
Wednesday 9th Feb 8.15am - 9.30am
In this desk-workers yoga session we will focus on asanas (poses) to improve posture and desk-related aches and pains as well as calming the mind. Following the class, you will feel refreshed & rejuvenated. You will learn how to take yoga off the mat to incorporate its many benefits into your everyday life.
No prior experience is required to join this yoga class - it will be accessible for ALL levels of yoga practitioner. All you need to bring is yourself, a yoga mat (or towel) and some water.
This session will be held in The Lounge at the Dryden Enterprise Centre, NTU's new space for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Overcoming Limiting Beliefs With Tapping
Wednesday 11th May 2022 at 8.15am - 9.30am
Tapping or EFT (emotional freedom technique) is a powerful technique that draws upon ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. Tapping on meridian points sends a calming signal to the brain, letting your brain know it's safe to relax. We can use this method to help us overcome our limiting beliefs - the beliefs that are holding us back in our personal and professional lives which are often unconscious.
During this interactive session, we will explore:
- What are limiting beliefs?
- What is EFT tapping and its benefits?
- How to use EFT tapping to overcome your limiting beliefs
No prior experience is required to join this session - it will be accessible for everyone. All you need is something to write with, your breath and a curious mind.
